Setting Up Reminders

Never forget to follow up with manual reminders on leads and intakes.

Creating a Reminder

  • Open any submission details
  • Find Reminders section
  • Click Add Reminder
  • Set date/time
  • Add optional note
  • Save

Quick Reminder Options

  • Tomorrow — Follow up next day
  • In 3 days — Standard follow-up window
  • Next week — Longer-term follow-up
  • Custom — Any date you choose

What to Include

Good reminder notes specify:

  • What action to take
  • Any context needed
  • Why this timing matters

Examples:

  • "Call to discuss proposal"
  • "Send contract if no response"
  • "Check if they received materials"

Viewing Reminders

Find your reminders:

  • Dashboard shows upcoming reminders
  • Each submission shows its reminders
  • Filter submissions by "Has Reminder"

Completing Reminders

When you've followed up:

  • Open the submission
  • Find the reminder
  • Mark as complete or reschedule

Reminder Best Practices

  • Set reminder immediately after interaction
  • Use specific action notes
  • Don't over-remind (overwhelming)
  • Review and clean up old reminders

Tip: Build a habit of setting the next reminder before closing any lead.
