Adding Notes and Internal Comments
Keep track of conversations and context with internal notes on each submission.
Adding a Note
- Click on any lead/intake to open the details panel
- Scroll to the Notes section
- Type your note in the text field
- Click Add Note to save
What to Include in Notes
Good notes capture:
- Key points from conversations
- Next steps agreed upon
- Important dates or deadlines
- Reasons for status changes
- Client preferences or concerns
Note Examples
"Spoke with Sarah on 12/15. She needs the project done by end of Q1. Budget approved, sending proposal tomorrow."
"Left voicemail. Will try again Thursday."
"Lost to competitor - they offered lower price. Good fit otherwise, keep for future."
Notes vs Submission Data
Team Collaboration
If you have team members:
- All notes are visible to your team
- Each note shows who added it and when
- Use @mentions to notify teammates (coming soon)
