Configuring Agreement Settings

Set up your agreement link for client acknowledgments.

Accessing Agreement Settings

  • Go to Settings
  • Scroll to Agreement Handling section

What to Configure

Agreement Link

  • URL to your agreement document
  • Must be publicly accessible
  • Starts with https://

Instructions

  • Brief text shown to clients
  • Explains what they're agreeing to
  • Up to 500 characters

Setting Up

  • Prepare your agreement document

- Upload to accessible location (Google Drive, website, etc.)

- Copy the public URL

  • Add to HeyIntake

- Paste URL in Agreement Link field

- Write clear instructions

- Save changes

  • Enable on forms

- Go to Form Builder

- Enable "Require Agreement" on relevant forms

Link Format Examples

  • PDF: https://yourdomain.com/agreement.pdf
  • Google Doc: https://docs.google.com/document/d/xxx/view
  • DocuSign: https://docusign.com/xxx

Testing

  • Enable agreement on a test form
  • Open form in incognito
  • Click "Review Agreement"
  • Verify document opens correctly

Important: Update your Settings if you change your agreement document location.
